Our history of winemaking

Heritage & History

Maximum intervention in the vineyard for minimal intervention in the winery with agricultural and operational practices to preserve the environment.

We practice regenerative viticulture with BIO certification and biodynamic practices with the aim of creating more balanced and sustainable viticultural systems, in harmony with nature and with a deep respect for natural cycles and biodiversity.

Plantations

In "key lines" (level curves) for the best use of rainwater and to avoid runoff and soil erosion

Grape varieties

We only use traditional varieties with good adaptation to drought and are formed in a traditional vase with wide planting frames that allow the development of plant covers. We use animals to mow the covers and work with renewable energy machinery.

Water

We collect water through natural ponds that allow the increase of a biodiverse ecosystem in different areas of the farm.

Agricultural Inputs

We make minimal use of external inputs, focused on improving soil health using compost, organic fertilizers and biodynamic preparations to encourage the biodiversity of the soil microbiota, promoting a more balanced interaction between plants and soil microorganisms.

Pruning

We maintain and adapt pruning techniques “with respect” to temperature and humidity conditions to cool the berries and allow the skins to ripen as long as possible in front of extreme heat.

Biodiversity

We incorporate other additional crops among the vineyards such as fruit trees, olive trees and nuts.

2030

We want to advance in the concept of “Updated Traditional Farm” with the addition of animals (sheep and poultry), the creation of an organic vegetable garden for self-consumption and an “agrivoltaic” infrastructure with solar panels to support the farm’s machinery.
